Make a Splash with Color
"The eye is a very complicated machine with lots of special parts. Light enters and travels through our eyes, and then messages go out the back of the eye to the brain. These messages create colors in our mind. This color tutorial from The Tech Museum of Innovation is my pick of the day for middle school students. My favorite click is the Talking About Color chapter on hue (the color of a color), saturation (the pureness of a color) and brightness (the strength of a color.) Still confused? Try the interactive experiments and discover hue, saturation and brightness for yourself."

Feynman Online
"This Feynman fan site (part of the Feynman Web Ring) has a message forum, and good collection of Feynman anecdotes. Best clicks are the personal stories found in the Guest Book and Anecdotes, and the articles (both onsite and off) in Life & Science. Don’t miss the two Feynman Think Different posters created by Apple as part of their 1998 ad campaign. You’ll find them under Other Good Stuff."

Exploratorium Soap Bubbles
"What is so fascinating about bubbles? The precise spherical shape, the incredibly fragile nature of the microscopically thin soap film, the beautiful colors that swirl and shimmer, or most likely, a combination of all these phenomena? For an exploration of the science of bubbles, this San Francisco Exploratorium site is the bee’s knees. And exactly what do beehives have in common with bubble foam? Go to ""Bubble Meets Bubble"" to find out."
