Animaland
Reviewed May 16, 2001 a reader from NYC, NY who is affiliated with the site. The ASPCA’s Animaland, sponsored in part by the Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund, teaches children about companion animals and endangered species. The site is fun and educational. Children can play games, send postcards, read about careers with animals, watch cartoons about pet care, and submit their questions to a macaw named Azula. Great fun for kids ages 4-12.
Animal Web Cams

Links are indexed on more than 40 separate directories from Alligators to Zoos. There are also links to 6000+ "Child Safe" city, airport, college and other web cams worldwide. "Mei Xiang and Tian Tian arrived from China at the Smithsonian National Zoo on December 6, 2000. Animal Planet called them " Washington’s newest power couple." Judging from "the popping flashbulbs of panda paparazzi" that greeted their Federal Express flight, they were right. The great photos, streaming video, and wonderful interactive features (don’t miss Wild Pandas) make this site my pick of the day! Panda lovers of all ages will find something here. Your littlest ones will enjoy clicking around the photo galleries, and older students will appreciate the well-written features."
