Iggy and Rasper’s Tips for Internet Safety and Good Manners
"KidsCom presents ten rules for Internet safety (don’t give out personal information), online manners (always be polite), and copyright law (don’t use pictures from someone else’s Web site). The best part of the site is the two games that reinforce the rules. Mouser is for four- to eight-year olds, with the questions read aloud. Keybo is for eight- to twelve-year olds, with multiple choice and fill-in-the-missing-word questions. This interactive component makes this safety site is must-see for kids and parents."

Reviewed January 21, 2001 by Lanesa Cordell, a parent from Arkansas who is not affiliated with the site:"My son will be four and plays the Hot Wheel games very well.He has developed computer skills and coordination while playingwith race cars. One good game is where the kids have to buildtheir own tracks. Go to the kid’s section and games, get adrivers license, and ID, then go into games."

Hop Pop Town
"These three ingenious neighborhoods are filled with musical sounds available for the clicking. Similar to the popular Living Books series (which taught our children to click on everything), each clicked object animates and plays a sound. Sequences of sounds can be recorded and played back. For older kids (or parents who take dictation), they also have writing pages based on material from the musical games."

Homestead
"Click and drag your way to Web site success, with your choice of two Homestead editors: Homestead Online ("offers complete power, flexibility and ease of use") or Homestead Express ("an easy starting point for beginners.") Choices abound, but are clearly described and easy to make. In addition to family pages, Homestead can be used to create any kind of Web site (and as suchcompetes with other free homepage sites such as GeoCities and Xoom) and is great fun! Optional features include a password for privacy, chat room, newsletter, and guest book."

Home and Play
Reviewed February 21, 2000 by Michael, 15 years old from Atlantic Canada who is affiliated with the site. We’ve got lots of stories (including a novel I wrote with my mom when I was 11), arts and crafts, fingerplays, interesting facts, wacky rhymes, caption contest, advice column and lots more. People really seem to like the page. I’ve been doing this Webpage with my mom to try and help my Auntie Gail. She used to work with little kids until she was in two bad car accidents. She hasn’t been able to work for a long time. I’m trying to get an income for her and also make her feel like she’s useful by helping parents and kids have fun together learning and growing.
