Concertina Books on the Internet
These four beautifully illustrated books were published simultaneously inprint and on the Internet . My favorite is "Waking in Jerusalem" bySharon Katz. It is the story of a young child who arises before his parents andwatches the city of Jerusalem wake up.

ComicsPage.com
"Comic strips from Tribune Media Services include classics such as Gasoline Alley, Annie, Dick Tracy, and Brenda Starr. Along with a ninety-day archive, many of the comics include a reader forum, interactive games, and a bit of strip history. From the front page, site navigation is divided into strips (comics with multiple frames, such as Shoe) and panels (single frame cartoons such as 9 to 5.) Bulletin boards for discussion are available from the entry page, as well as from each cartoon’s main page."

"Featuring dozens of cartoonists from United Media, Creators, and Washington Post Writers Group, Comics.com has fresh content daily along with thirty-day archives, e-cards for all occasions, and comics via e-mail subscription. Snoopy (AKA Peanuts) and Dilbert are two of the most popular, and they each have their own complete site, just click on the buttons near the top of the page. Other family favorites include Luann, Heathcliff and Momma. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a cartoonist, take a look at ""So You Want to Become a Cartoonist"" on the Luann page."

Christopher Robin’s Winnie the Pooh Character Guide
"Topher’s fan site has lots more to offer than the character guide, but the who’s who of Pooh is a good place to start your site tour. After that, poke around to find the games, which include quizzes, a word search, a crossword, and my personal favorite, the Winnie-the-Pooh Mad Lib. Another best-bet click is "Winnie-the-Pooh FAQ: Your Frequently Asked Questions And Other Things You Should Know" which nicely organizes answers to over a hundred Pooh questions."

Childhood Reading
"Childhood Reading is a pretty mix of fairy tales, fables and poetry accompanied by original early-twentieth century illustrations. The illustrated tales are indexed by both author (such as Hans Christian Andersen, Robert Louis Stevenson and Aesop) and illustrator (including Maxfield Parrish and Edmund Dulac.) It’s the simple design and yummy artwork that make this site special."
