Surfing the Net with Kids: Baseball
"Other than games played by my own kids, I am not known as huge sports fan. But over the years, baseball has won me over. Encouraged by my daughter (the biggest baseball fan in our house) I have come to enjoy and appreciate the national pastime. Play ball!"

Surfing the Net with Kids: Baseball Fun
"If spring fever means baseball to you, then I’ve got some Internet diversions for you. All require Shockwave, which can be downloaded for free. Now, altogether please: "Take me out to the ball game. Take me out to the crowd.""

Sun Protection
"From the research department of L’Oréal cosmetics, Sun Protection starts with an excellent explanation of the short- and long-term effects of sun exposure. Next it delves into our body’s natural defenses (the production of melanin, the tanning pigment,) skin types, and sun solutions. This site is so good, every page is a best click! If any of the scientific words stump you, you’ll find a glossary link at the bottom of every page."

Sports Illustrated for Kids
"The online edition of ""Sports Illustrated for Kids"" is fun from cover to cover. Or should I say from click to click? My favorites clicks are Bat-o-Matic (a free fantasy baseball league just for kids) and Power Hitter (a fun Shockwave game.) Although there is not a menu that lists all things baseball, you’ll find related features throughout the magazine. For example MLB scores, headlines, and a personal stats calculator are found in ""News."""

Sportsline Arcade
"CBS Sportsline presents twenty-five Shockwave sports games, including three with baseball themes. Test your baseball knowledge with the Baseball Playoff Trivia. Earn runs with each correct answer. Three strikes, you’re out! In Grand Slam (a baseball version of Pong), move your bat to hit the balls as they bounce off the gloves. Ignore the Rules section, as it incorrectly lists instructions for the golf game. Last, but not least, is Major League Pinball. Try it. It’s fast and fun."
