This site is designed to provide a safe-search environment that is limited in advertisements. It is a wonderful beginning guide when looking for information on the web and the use of images makes this site user-friendly.

Kate Harper Designs
January 21, 2004: From Kate Harper, a reader from Berkeley, CA who is affiliated with the site. "Greeting card submissions wanted. We also want submissions by children for our ’kid quotes’ line. The odds of getting published are high, since we always have a shortage of submissions. This is a great project for a classroom or after school activity."

Jump into a Healthy Life
"Before trying any tricks or skills with the rope, try them without the rope. Jump with bothfeet, unless the instructions say otherwise, and land on the balls of your feet. You should alsobend your knees to absorb the force. When you are ready to use the rope, keep your handsat your sides and turn with your wrists. There should be little or no arm movement. One of the axioms of writing is to write what you know — and these young Webmasters certainly know jump roping! Their site is filled with skills to learn (divided into basic, intermediate and advanced), important information about cardiac exercise and fun facts about your heart."
