Yo, It’s Time for Braces"

This website about orthodontic braces for kids won first place in Thinkquest Junior’s Health and Sports category. The fifth grade team had the advice, pictures and interviews of more than 20 orthodontists. The site helps kids and parents learn what to expect when they get braces. There is a lot of advice, a story, a journal, history, celebrity info.,receipies and a glossary in English and Russian . Kids from across the U.S. and from 17 countries have written about their experiences in the guestbook so far. Many kids have said that the site helped them know what to expect so they weren’t so scared about getting braces.
