Suffering Under a Great Injustice
"In 1943, Adams documented the Manzanar War Relocation Center in California that interned Japanese Americans during World War II. This Library of Congress exhibit presents ""side-by-side digital scans of both Adams’s 242 original negatives and his 209 photographic prints, allowing viewers to see his darkroom technique and in particular how he cropped his prints."" Restoring a Masterwork
"Over the course of 5 weeks, members of the Upper Midwest Conservation Association cleaned and restored a masterwork from the collection of The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. The painting, Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione’s The Immaculate Conception with Saints Francis of Assisi and Anthony of Padua is over 300 years old and is one of the largest in the Institute’s collection.
